5 Day Bespoke Couse

I recently completed a custom tailored ‘stage‘ here at Texatelier, France, with Martine, an Arts therapist, who wished to add a few new strings to her bow.

6 April  - 3D Feltmaking

Using methods such as coiling and stitch create objects, vessels or bags using felt, which can then be further embellished using threads beads and stitch.

 

7 April - Embellished Felt Jewellery. 
Create felt jewellery using simple felting techniques with beads and stitch for further embellishment

Brooches, earrings, necklaces are the type of adornments you will have the opportunity to create.

 

8 April - Printing on Fabric
Using monoprinting, hand painting and screenprinting you will create interesting images, textures and marks on cloth using this easy and satisfying method of printing. There will be the opportunity to take inspiration from the Andy Warhol exhibition at the beginning of the day.

 

9 April - Silk Screen Printing on Fabric

Using the deconstucted screenprinting process with monoprinting, stencil printing, drawing and hand painting, you will create experimental and individual fabrics with procion dyes and dye thickener. There will be the opportunity to take inspiration from the Andy Warhol exhibition at the beginning of the day.
